About us and our programme

Our kindergarten serves the close-knit rural community of Pākaraka, northwest of Whanganui. 

Our experienced team is kind, warm and nurturing which makes the kindergarten a welcoming place for children and parents alike.

We value whanaungatanga, building respectful relationships between children, parents, whānau, teachers and iwi.

We recognise people as unique individuals who all have strengths to contribute. We celebrate and acknowledge the different values and beliefs of the various cultures in our community.

Our programme reflects the dual heritage of Aotearoa/New Zealand and the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti O Waitangi.

We provide an environment where children are supported and challenged to become confident and competent learners.
