About us and our programme 

Bellevue Kindergarten in Newlands provides a warm and welcoming environment for children and families. We work in partnership with parents and have strong relationships with whānau, who are welcome to stay with their child at any time.

We recognise and respect New Zealand’s bicultural heritage and our older children take part in regular kapa haka sessions.  We value, respect and celebrate the different cultures of our families and welcome the contribution these make to our programme.

We have a strong focus on numeracy, literacy and art and teachers respond to children’s interests and needs. We have an attractive outdoor area with play spaces and gardens.
