Welcome to our latest update of information and stories you may be interested in... Oh my golly people, this is a tight General Election! Thanks to all of you who have made displays, put stuff on your Facebook pages, and encouraged your families (including your own) to enroll and vote. Thanks also for distributing our Whānau Newsletter Election Special – it is really important that people understand the environment we have worked in for the last few years and the implications of their vote in relation to high quality early childhood education. It would be great if either today or tomorrow you put something on your facebook page and put out your own notice to families, encouraging them to vote and providing a few facts from the kit and information we’ve already sent you. If you personally haven’t done anything to contribute to the democratic process to this point, please do so over the coming days – to be blunt, you have no right to criticize what happens in the future if you haven’t actively been involved in this General Election: the personal is political! Xoxo Mandy
