THERE ARE LOTS OF WAYS YOU CAN GET INVOLVED IN YOUR LOCAL KINDERGARTEN...
From providing support for excursions, to fundraising and planning social events, there are so many ways you can take part in day-to-day kindergarten life.
Participate: We always encourage and enjoy parent participation, this could involve joining your kindergarten whānau group, participating in excursions and fundraisers or just spending time in your kindergarten.
Lead: If you have governance experience - or are interested in gaining some - and you want to have a say in the future of the Whānau Manaaki network, you might want to explore standing for our governing board. Elections are usually held in the lead up to our Annual General Meeting in September.
Have a say: Our Annual General Meeting is a great way to find out more about what is happening around our network, what our strategic priorities are for the year ahead and how we have done against our goals for the year before. Each eligible Whānau Manaaki Member can cast two votes in that year’s board elections. There can be two members for each child, and these members are the person named on the enrolment form as primary contacts.
