About Us and Our ProgrammeWe believe the kindergarten should be an extension of home. We provide a learning environment where children and their whānau experience warm and friendly relationships and feel a strong sense of belonging at kindergarten and in the community.

 

We are a diverse kindergarten and our relationships with families give us wonderful opportunities to celebrate different cultures. This sharing of knowledge between parents, whānau and teachers gives children the chance to make connections to our local community and also see how others view the world around them.

 

Our programme builds on individual aspirations and interests. Children are supported in accessing all areas of the curriculum so that they can actively find answers to their questions and learn through creativity and active exploration.

SESSION TIMES

 

Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm

Children can see that their learning is valued and evident. We display children’s art, learning stories and photos of learning in action. Our relationships with parents are vital in making links between home and kindergarten to support our children in both environments.

 

We encourage children to become confident and competent lifelong learners, and provide a place where children learn habits of mind which will accompany them through their life learning journey.
