Christmas Parade Marie McFarland Kindergarten will be representing Whānau Manaaki in the Christmas Parade on 12 December, with a combination of walking float of care-givers and children and 2 of the Association cars. The Christmas Parade is on 12 December at 2pm. The Whānau Manaaki office is a PRIME place to come and view it - and admire the pictures we have in the window also! Remember that we are interested in taking pictures from kindergartens to display - people DO stop and admire!
Celebrations It would be great to know what each Kindergarten is doing for themselves to celebrate Christmas - both as a Kindergarten and for the staff "do". Share it with us with pics!!
Rain, Rain And More Rain! Remember how Wednesday had torrential rain? Well one kindergarten had, with incredible foresight, planned a teacher-only day that day so when it was discovered they needed the flood barriers put up, they didn't have to worry about the children! (Yay Putiki!) And another had their Christmas hangi celebration on the same day despite the weather! (Yay Barsanti!)
