We have now combined the Regional News into one page to make it easier to flick through other Kindergarten items if you want to.  We would love your feedback, korero@wmkindergartens.org.nz

At Irmgard Ritchie we are currently re-developing our outdoor area.  Look at our newly built punga hutt, amazing! Thanks to our builders who did this. Special thanks to Austin's family who donated the punga logs

Entertainers For Whanganui

Last Wednesday, at a Small Talks function, I saw Wen Xiong tell a story with her drumming skills and I immediately thought of the Kindergartens.  As it turns out, she does normally visit Kindergartens and ECE centres (she has visited Putiki in the past) but this has been curtailed due to Covid.

However, if you are interested in knowing more, check out "Wen's Story Den" on Facebook. I don't know anything about costs - just thought I would spread the word about another age-appropriate entertainer in the area.  Kaz

Donation Of Baby Clothes

If you know of people within the community who might be in need of used baby clothes (0-12 months), please contact Sues947@gmail.com.  She has put together packs of baby clothes and is wanting to donate them.

Congratulations!

Katie Hodge, teacher at Whanganui East Kindergarten, recently welcomed her little boy Leo.  Congratulations to you and your whānau Katie!
