Playdate Fun! Last Thursday Te Manawanui Kindergarten, Shannon Playcentre, Hanana Kohanga Reo and members of the local community, including library staff, joined together for a play date! This was a great opportunity for friendships and connections.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas Maxwell & Districts On the third day of Christmas, Hayley and Natalie’s family brought to Kindergarten......... a Christmas tree. Thanks so much for the delivery this morning, Ray and Helen. It is perfect and smells just like Christmas 🎄. We had a lovely time decorating the tree whilst listening to fabulous Christmas tunes 🎼. At group time “Santa” read us a story 🤶🏻🎅🏻.
Aramoho Making a wreath with greenery from our garden. Painting branches to be decorated later. Extended play with the trucks moving slowly over to the bark are. Enjoying our newly made bike jump with dirt from the garden. Enjoying a ride on the ‘bus’ , and hiding under the tarpaulin. So much learning happening every day with friends.
Totara Puku Kindergarten It's starting to look alot like christmas at Tōtara Puku Kindergarten. The children let their creative juices flow through decorating the tree and bits of the centre. It was also wonderful to see the tuakana teina naturally happening in the process. What a beautiful time of year.
Wanganui East Kindergarten It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The Christmas fever has officially hit Wanganui East Kindergarten. We started by decorating the tree with beautiful lights and ornaments, and overnight suddenly the whole centre was decorated inside and out.

Congratulations! Happy 65 to Sybille Knoerr, Head Teacher at Aramoho Kindergarten and to Rachel Cronin, Senior Teacher, who turned 60. Lovely milestones to reach, many birthday wishes to your both. Jessica Firmin, Head Teacher at Marie McFarland Kindergarten, and her whānau welcomed Mana to their family. She sent this message through: My whānau and I would like to send a huge mihi to the wonderful kaiako at Marie McFarland Kindergarten and Katie for their love and support during my pregnancy and of course all our wonderful Kindergarten whānau too. Mana and I were extremely lucky to have so much aroha surrounding us which made this beautiful but testing and emotional time that much easier. We are very blessed to have Mana in our lives especially as we come into Christmas and the New Year and we remember our loved ones who have passed on over the year.
Ko Mana Tanekaha Takarangi Firmin ahau. i was born on the 10th November 2020 and weighed 13lb 15oz 😲 (I do not know how I continued to work 1 week before having him😅) Like Mana's top says as he has cuddles with his Nana, "Merry T-Rex Mas"... Arohanui Jessica Tiffany Wagstaff of Totara Puku Kindergarten got married last weekend, after having a lovely "wedding party" at the kindergarten.
