Stove And Sink For Koha Newtown Kindergarten have a pre-loved kids kitchen sink and stove they would like to re-home for a Koha. If you think they would make a great addition to your Kindergarten please contact the Newtown team directly.

Wheelathon at Johnsonville West Kindergarten On Wednesday the 24th March 2021 Johnsonville West Kindergarten had a very successful Wheelathon! They raised almost $5000 with the big help and support of whānau and community. One of our tamariki made a video for her friends, whānau and church to sponsor her to participate in the Wheelathon. She collected the most sponsorship money with a huge effort of $660! There was a bouncy castle sponsored by Ray White, dessert stall, sausage sizzle, curry, raffles, silent auctions, and much more entertaining activities for the children and their families. We were delighted to have other members of the wider community visit us for the day including Sgt. Sarah Ridderington from our local police station to present the medals and certificates. It was lovely to see not only parents, but the extended families, as well as former students and their whānau on the day. One of them who attended their first wheelathon and gala 18 years ago also came. A big aroha to the fantastic parent committee who helped organise the Wheelathon and Gala, parents and whānau who baked all the yummy desserts and cooked delicious homemade food as well as our 25 generous sponsors who donated vouchers, hampers and goodies. This special event is a reflection of the strong sense of Whanaungatanga and Manaakitanga that are highly valued at Johnsonville West Kindergarten.
