Pays Over Christmas and New Year
There is one more payday before Christmas – on Tuesday 15 December.
The next one is Tuesday 29 December. The Payroll Team won’t have long to process this pay (as the office will be closed) so we need kindergartens to send in their returns a little early.
- On Friday 18 December send in Returns/Staff Hour count for:
- Week of 14-18 Dec; and
- Prediction for the following week, Monday 21 (for part-year) and Tuesday 22 (for full-year)
- On Monday 21 or Tuesday 22 December (your last day) send in amended Returns/Staff Hour count for those days by 9am.
If you have any questions please email email@example.com or call the Porirua office and someone in the team can help you. Or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org .
Kapa Haka Is Coming
Lou will be starting a satellite kapa haka taster to see if there is interest in kapa haka in the Wairarapa area during 2021.
So put in your diary Thursday 4 March. The session will be held at Manaia Kindergarten from 4pm to 5.30pm.
Nau mai haeremai koutou katoa!
We Need Your Help
Una Williams Kindergarten is having a Giveaway Day for its community on Saturday 5 December, 9am – 1pm. This is part of Whanau Manaaki’s outreach to families. We have in the past had generous kindergartens, friends and community who donate good condition clothing, toys, books, shoes, furniture, kitchenware, bedroom linen, electrical appliances, jewellery and so on.
We ask neighboring kindergartens if you have any give away stuff to contribute or know of people who can donate. Please contact Melnissa when to drop off stuff. If you have families who may be interested in attending Giveaway Day please give them a copy of the flyer which you can download here.
Our Children Perform
The children from York Street and Una Williams kindergartens did Whānau Manaaki proud as they performed at the recent Whakaoriori Kahui Ako's concert recently at the Copthorne Hotel.
All ECE's were invited to attend and perform. York street performed Tena Koe, Etu Kahikatea, and then got the audience up to perform one our children's favourites, Mrs Bunny.
